Zero Street

Like all children, Arthur King has his share of fears. Unfortunately, many of Arthur's concerns are based on the realities of his environment. An African-American boy poised on the farthers edge of childhood, Arthur is faced daily with racism, drugs and violence on the streets. He excapes these threats in fantasies, where he can sort through his fears and control his surroundings. But whn a scholl assignment prompts Arthur to begin a search for his proper role in society, his mother and his neighbors help him to doscover that dreams can lead to creative solutions in real life.
